Technical / Maintenance/ Building Services Manager

My Client, involved in property and project management, is now looking to recruit an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Technical / Maintenance/ Building Services Manager to complete due diligence, technical support and audit compliance.
The main tasks will be to direct, manage and provide advice on all aspects of Building Services. Audit all statutory compliance and maintenance records, identify & report gap analysis, technical management support, liaise with clients and contractors.
The Role: Technical / Maintenance/ Building Services Manager
Undertake routine compliance audits, ensuring all Building Services activities are aligned with current legislation and codes of practice.
Conduct audits in order to ensure compliance with safe systems of work and in order to identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to
To provide regular compliance reporting
Provide professional, specialist and technical instruction advice
Provide technical support in line with statutory compliance to assess and determine areas of risk in relation to the delivery of Safe Systems of Work and provision of Authorised Persons
Review existing services, specifications, processes, and productivity levels, to secure and increase the efficient use of resources.
Provide technical support whilst building customer relationships, and support all stages of project lifecycle.
Act as the client interface on technical matters, developing close collaborative working relationships
Attend management meetings to ensure close co-ordination and effective communication of all technical - engineering related matters.
Deal with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management.
Identify training and development needs and opportunities within teams.
To provide subject matter expertise in Project Management activities and consultancy as required whilst prioritising Property Management activities and duties.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Technical / Maintenance/ Building Services Manager
Degree in Building Services or related field
IOSH / NEBOSH Certificate ideal
Track record of contract management
Track record of Managing Technical Services / Building services
Statutory Compliance
Report writing
Conversant with a wide range of building service systems and equipment.
Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
Proven track record of budget management
Construction & Facilities management / PFI contract knowledge
Strong technical skills
