My client, a SE London Pest Control business is recruiting for a Pest Control Sales Surveyor to join their team Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 with an hour for lunch. Salary £25-£30k with an OTE of £35-£60k dependent on how much experience you have and how much you sell. This role also includes a company car with personalised business number plates.
Must be aged 25+
This business has been running for over 40 years and are well established in the industry, they offer a personal service to both their customers and employees alike because they are not your typical corporate organisation, they are family run!
If you have some experience working as either a Pest Control Technician and would like to move into a more customer focused role or are in that Pest Control Sales Surveyor role already but are looking for a new employer, then this position could be for you! This firm deal with commercial and domestic pest control issues across the UK.
This role has come around because of growth, you will be joining their Sales Surveying team but also working individually.
Day to day duties:
* You will be organising your own diary, spending 3-4 days out in the field (to be advised at the time of interview and subject to the candidates home address) Visiting current clients & prospective clients to carry out surveys to do with their pest control issues or prevention of pest control. This is an exciting role where half of your week is spent dealing with current clients and half is dealing with new business.
* 1-2 days will be spent in the office dealing with any necessary paperwork to do with their clients. Also dealing with enquiries that come directly through the website/via the office line.
* Using LinkedIn to contact existing and new businesses to develop relationships.
* Attending events where you may meet future clients that could use your service.
* Quality assessment checks with existing clients to ensure their pest control issues are dealt with.
* Maintaining relationships with current clients.
As with any business development/sales role, this firm have targets you will need to hit, and the commission structure depends on if the business is new or existing customers. There is flexibility on the commission structure, and this is something they will discuss in the interview.
Experience and attributes required:
* A minimum of 1 years Ideally at least one years' experience in a Sales Surveying role within Pest Control would be the minimum requirement, but the more experience the better.
* Having some experience in Pest Control is essential, even if this means in a different role.
* Outgoing and confident personality
* Personable and friendly
* Hard working & focused
* Qualifications preferable.
