Systems Developer - PHP, HTML, CSS, Ingres - 18 Month FIXED TERM CONTRACT Canterbury, Kent - Up to £40,000
I currently have an excellent opportunity for a Systems Developer to join a very dynamic team based in Canterbury. There are looking for a problem solver with strong learning agility, someone who is looking for a role that offers both technical challenges and input from requirements gathering, to design and development.
The role will develop key enhancements to record systems. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in relevant business areas and systems, as well as benefit from industry training opportunities.
Ideally my client is looking for someone with the following experience database applications development (preferably in Ingres or Transact SQL), web development ( PHP, JavaScript, and CSS), integrations and reports (SSIS and SSRS).
Daily duties
* Work closely with business analysts to understand requirements
* Develop the existing bespoke data system to suit requirements
* Enable relevant data exchange with other systems
* Demonstrable knowledge of relational database systems, web programming and good development practices
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to build relationships and document work on both a technical level and for user consumption
