The working hours are 8.00am to 4.00pm on weekdays with an earlier finish of 3.30pm on a Friday, throughout the full year. We offer 24 days holiday per annum (plus bank holidays) which increases based on length of service. About our academy and facilities: The Hundred of Hoo Academy is one of the largest sites across all Leigh Academies Trust schools and is maintained by a large and experienced team which our successful candidate will be a part of. We are an all-through academy with both a primary and secondary academy on-site, in addition to a nursery and council-run well-being centre. Our facilities are also hired out to the public so key areas such as the sports areas and all-weather pitch need regular maintenance to ensure we can fulfil our lettings offerings.

The facilities vary across the sites as we cater for children aged from 2 years to 19 years old. The construction of the main building is from the 1950s with more modern facilities being added over the years. The primary academy building was completed in 2016 and offers state-of-the-art facilities. We are a busy Site Team and regularly undertake new projects to ensure our students, staff and the public can get the very best out of our facilities.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: Being part of a successful multi-academy trust allows the academy to share best practice and collaborate with colleagues from a number of other schools in the local area. As part of the 'cluster' structure all of our academies are grouped together in key geographical area to enable them to be able to support each other and share resources. It also offers staff access to career opportunities across the Trust allowing them to progress their career without switching employers.
