Relationship Manager

Barker Munro recruitment, the Kent based Insurance recruitment specialists, are currently working with a growing name in the insurance market who are currently looking to add a Relationship Manager to their operation in Kent.

As the Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for owning the client relationships, ensuring optimisation of each relationship and strategic focus on the needs of the growing customer base. Working closely with the internal business managers to dive forward client's priorities, proposing any changes and developments to the business as appropriate. This is very much focused on building lasting relationships with companies so the ability communicate effectively both face to face and over electronic channels is essential and you will be able to demonstrate proven exposure in this discipline.

The relationship manager will provide expert customer service to a strong client base whilst also acting as the essential link between the client and the business. You will attend meetings and site visits to clients as and when required and there may also be the need to produce performance statistics when required for clients and the business as a whole.

What do you need to be considered for the role of Relationship Manager? Do you have B2B relationship management skills from within the Insurance industry? If you can answer yes to this question, you are half way there to be considered for the role…..Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also a strong requirement of the role and the ability to converse with clients face to face. Also, the ability to be confident in delivering a close working relationship with all internal and external bodies in a professional manner.

Do you need to have worked in Insurance? This is a real essential in this role and will enable you to carry out your duties in the role to a much greater depth. Also an ability to spot potential opportunities within the business market whilst delivering and providing administrative and relationship support to corporate clients would be great.
