We are currently looking for an experienced Scheduler/Administrator to join our expanding team on a permanent, full time basis.
Location of Position: Strood, Kent.
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience (£20,000 - £25,000)
You will be required to assist the operations team to ensure smooth running of day to day tasks and maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
This position will require you to be responsible for the following:
• Answering phone calls throughout the day in a clear manner, paying attention to detail and logging all information.
• Processing Technician paperwork once received, alerting management of any discrepancies.
• Supporting the team in dealing with enquiries, using the tools to provide answers where possible.
• Liaison with Technicians updates every morning and acting upon any action that is required.
• Emailing and Phoning customers after each site visit to update them on the outcome of the visit and ensuring that they are satisfied with the work provided and their fault fixed.
• Re-issuing jobs to Technicians if required subject to the outcome of the original visit.
• Logging customer call outs throughout the day in a fast and effective manner ensuring continued communication is kept throughout the process.
• Liaising with clients when scheduling in Technician visits.
• Using in-house software to input relative information and assigning Technician call outs.
• Completing administrative duties including writing and sending quotes to customers.
• Generation of reports for management.
• Collation of information for manual purposes.
• Proactively supporting customers and ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Commercial awareness of costs allocated to the projects.
Desired Experience and Skills for this position:
• Proactive nature.
• Customer focused.
• Computer literate.
• Polite telephone manner.
• Excellent co-ordination skills.
• Experience of Microsoft Office packages.
• Flexibility and ability to prioritise work throughout the day.
• Experience within a Scheduler/Planner position is preferable but not essential.
• Operational/Fleet experience preferable but not essential.
