We are seeking an experienced passenger transport manager to head up our community transport services.
You will lead a committed team of staff and volunteers who help hundreds of disabled and older people overcome loneliness and isolation every day. Our services cover West and North Kent, and include home to school transport, shopping services, day centre client transport, and wider outings.
As well as overseeing the smooth running of daily transport services, you will also ensure that vehicles and drivers comply with the requirements of their operating licences and DVSA legislation. Services currently operate under Section 19 and Section 22 permits.
You will be based at Compaid’s main site in Paddock Wood in Kent, with some travel to our other vehicle yards near Gravesend and Sittingbourne.
You will have a minimum of three years’ experience of passenger transport, and ideally hold a Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Management (Passenger Transport).
40 hours a week (some additional hours may be necessary),

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 18 September
Our Transport Service holds the Community Transport Association Quality Mark.
