Hadlow Rural Community School (HRCS) opened in September 2013 and offers a unique educational opportunity to students in Hadlow itself and across the wider local area. It is sponsored by and situated on the 630 acre campus of Hadlow College, the outstanding land-based college.

Hadlow Rural Community School is a popular, oversubscribed School with a current roll of 340 students, increasing to 375 in 2018. The School has recently relocated to a £7million new build and is developing a strong reputation both locally and beyond for enabling its young people to excel and flourish; providing an exciting, vibrant and dynamic experience in academic and land based vocational studies.

We are looking to appoint three dynamic, innovative and exceptional teachers of Land-Based studies who have the necessary ambition and expertise to play a key part in the future success of the School. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to utilise the full range of facilities within the Hadlow group covering areas such as; Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Countryside, Floristry and Equine.

You will need a full Level 3 or above vocational qualification as well as literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 or equivalent.

This is an exciting post for an excellent practitioner and offers an outstanding opportunity for potential future career development; supported by one of the most successful educational establishments in the country.

As the school develops the successful candidate will have the potential to teach across a full ability range in KS3, 4 and 5 and provides an outstanding opportunity to join a forward thinking and dynamic school team.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where applicable, a prohibition check will be carried out.
