Salary £18,000 - £25,000

My client based in Borough Green is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team as soon as possible on a full time permanent basis. The chosen candidate will be joining a rapidly growing company that provide excellent career progression and a great working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

* Send customer reminder letters and follow up on outstanding queries, contacting where appropriate to ensure timely payments of debts within the company terms.

* Regular communication with customers to inform them of their outstanding balances.

* Administration of opening processes for new credit accounts, which includes obtaining references and ensuring thorough communication of limits and terms to the customer.

* Oversee processes for legal collection and enforcement and reporting on the debtors ledgers across all of the related companies to ensure effective collection of monies due.

* Manage ongoing customer credit limits and accounts.

Requirements:

* Previous experience of credit control and debt chasing (1-2 years preferably).

* Confidence in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

* Experience in working with Sage Lime 50 and Xero.

* Ability to work as a part of a team, with good communication skills.

* Hard working attitude with a desire to achieve good results.

* A self-starter that shows initiative and an ability to prioritise workload.

* Excellent customer service skills and confidence in speaking with customers.
