Lauriem Complete Care Ltd are a successful social care organisation and KCC contracted provider. We are currently looking for Community Care Workers to join our team in the Thanet and Sandwich area.
We are looking for reliable & dedicated care staff to cover-Sandwich, Ramsgate, Margate,Minster & the surrounding Rural Areas, so a full UK driving license and car is essential.
The role involves working with vulnerable adults in the community for the following Client base - Elderly, Mental Health, Dementia, Long Term Medical Conditions, Learning Disabilities and Physical Health Problems, with their daily activities to include personal care, medication, shopping, choices and decisions, social inclusion and social support. Daily activities can include personal care, medication, shopping, choices and decisions, social inclusion and social support.

Previous care experience is not essential as full in-house training and mentoring is provided, with the opportunity to gain a QCF level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care after completing your probationary period.

Person Specification :
Previous care experience preferred but not essential as full paid training and mentoring provided.
Car driver essential.
QCF/NVQ level 2 Health & Social Care (Adult) or equivalent preferred.
Experience or capacity to understand and take account of the needs of vulnerable people.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to positively engage clients.
Employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and 2 references.
