Assistant Quality Assurance Technician

Monday - Friday
£17,000 - £23,000 pa DOE
Joining an expanding food manufacturing company in Strood, this role of Quality Assurance Technician will help ensure standards within the business are achieved and maintained.
The Quality Assurance role will include :-
* Sampling of raw materials and finished products
* Approving raw materials, releasing products for dispatch, and approving suppliers
* In-house micro testing and sending samples for 3rd party testing
* Assisting the Technical Manager and Quality Manager as required
* Taking corrective actions and deviations
The successful Quality Assurance candidate would ideally have knowledge of GMP and quality Management systems. A background in Biology or Biomedicine would be an advantage, and the role would suit either a raw graduate or a candidate with more working experience.
