A Quality Engineer is required to join an employer of choice based in East Kent.
Reporting into the Quality Manager, the incoming candidate will act as the quality interface and conduit between all internal departments; manufacturing, engineering, vendors, and customers. You'll be tasked with managing and maintaining global quality systems, and take an active involvement on continuous improvement projects.
In order to be considered for the role - you will need to be an experienced quality professional from within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment - ideally with a working knowledge of mechanical engineering. You will have the ability to read engineering drawings and be confident in the use of measurement tools is a must.
Strong communication skills are required, too - as you'll need the confident to train others in the use of quality tools and techniques. Working knowledge and operation of CMM would be highly advantageous, although not essential.
