My client, a growing housing association, is seeking an experienced Supported Living Manager to join them on a temporary basis for approximately six months.
This is a part time position working 3.5 hours a day, these hours can be flexible to suit you.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The main purpose of this position is provide a high quality housing management services to older people who are living in a supported environment. This position will involve managing and supervising a team of staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*
* Cover the Sheltered Scheme Officers when absent.
* Build professional and positive relationships with external partners of the housing association - including Adult Social Care, Health care Agencies and represent the association at board meetings.
* Carry out interviews and assessments for perspective residents.
* Support residents with managing their finances.
* Be the main point of contact for any inappropriate behaviour or breach of tenancy.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to work well under pressure and use good judgement to deal with issues.
* Resilience and tolerance
* Empathy
* Sense of humour
* Ability to follow a framework.
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of line management
* 1-2 years of housing association experience
* Knowledge of issues affecting older people
