A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Operative to be an integral part of this forward thinking organisation who are a leading supplier in their field.
The main purpose of the role is to carry out incoming inspections and in-process quality control checks with the aim of reducing defects and therefore improving the quality of the finished product. Carry out structured investigations of quality issues and implement quality principles in the business process.
The key duties are to undertake quality control checks of finished goods prior to shipment.
Support production and manufacturing departments and raise non-conformances for any components that do not meet specification in accordance to agreed standards. Analyse the causes and identify solutions and provide guidance for action to be taken.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.00pm.
The salary on offer is £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience.
