Unique opportunity in Thanet - we are currently assisting a client in the recruitment of a Duty Manager to work on a four on four off shift pattern at a site in Thanet.

You will be responsible for supervising the daily night operation of a team of Operatives ensuring personal safety at all times.

* Common sense approach to managing a team and adhering to company standards;
* To ensure all PPE is being correctly worn;
* To ensure all section equipment is operational and in scope;
* To manage all site vehicles in coordination with section supervisors and to ensure all drivers adhere to the company and site guidelines;
* Manage and task the on-site Maintenance Operators;
* To ensure all parts of the operation are running to plan efficiently;
* Promoting excellent communication at all times;
* Ensuring the completion of all documentation in line with standards;
* Recognise any potential hazards and report such hazards to the appropriate person(s).

Experience of working in a large scale operation would be a distinct advantage.

The successful person will have the ability to lead by example and manage a team whilst remaining a team player. You will be a great communicator, adaptable and a flexible member of the team with a can do attitude. The role offers up to three months temp but possibly longer depending on business needs and attitude. Full training will be given.
