Counter Fraud Analyst
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
The Company:
The company are an innovative and entrepreneurial group of companies specialising in Motor Insurance Services who are an Investors in People Gold Champion organisation.
Role Purpose:
Compile MI and reports on Counter Fraud performance and products whilst measuring and enhancing the performance of the Counter Fraud system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of high quality accurate reports and MI
* Carry out root cause analysis
* Develop new methods to identify fraud
* Contribute to the development of Counter Fraud systems and processes
* Develop and maintain Counter Fraud databases
* Regular analysis of system rules that protect the business and prevent exposure to fraud
* Creation and administration of SIRA scorecards
* Monitoring the effectiveness of SIRA scorecards to improve overall performance
* Responsible for SIRA account administration
* Involvement in the testing of enhancements to SIRA
Essential Skills
* Advance user of Excel
* Competent in writing SQL scripts
* Data analysis
* Ability to work to deadlines
* High degree of accuracy
* Good communication skills
* Strong background in either Mathematics or Statistics
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide
* Insurance and fraud knowledge an advantage
* Report writing
* Educated to degree level in a mathematical subject
