Office Manager

Connect2Staff are currently working with a Primary School based in Medway who are looking for an Office Manager to join their friendly team on a permanent basis as of September 2019.

This is a term time only position working 37 hours per week, with a salary of 19K - 25K (Pro-Rata) depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities

* Supervise and manage office staff, ensuring best practice and effective running of workload providing assistance where necessary.
* Be the main point of contact of all parents/carers, providing information where needed.
* Ensure appropriate staffing needs are met, providing cover for absences etc.
* Take responsibility for Health and Safety issues.
* Provide administrative and organisational support to Head of School and others.
* Manage school information systems (SIMS) efficiently, updating where necessary.
* Contribute to the schools overall aims/ethos/progress.
* Attend, organise and participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

* Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
* Experience of working in an office environment in a senior/management level.
* Experience of working in a school office/using SIMS desirable.
* Fantastic organisational and leadership skills.
* The ability to time keep, and prioritise work load.
* Positive, enthusiastic and trustworthy personality.

Please be aware, that to be successful within this post a full enhanced DBS certificate will necessary, as well as two satisfactory references.
