Job Information:

We are looking for a team of enthusiastic and energetic people to help us celebrate Civil Engineering with children and adults, as part of our Bridge Adventure Golf in the Cathedral Nave.

For the month of August, we will have installed a 9-hole adventure golf course in the Nave of Rochester Cathedral. Each hole will represent a different type of bridge. We require education assistants to engage visitors a the adventure golf course and support our education objectives, by hosting self-guided bridge and civil engineering themed activities. Full training will be provided, and an interest in bridges or civil engineering is advantageous.

Duties will include:

• Attending and supporting self-guided activities in the Cathedral
• Welcoming visitors warmly
• Making visitors aware of the aims of Rochester Bridge Trust
• Sharing education resources and literature, as appropriate
• Ensuring equipment is packed away after each session

Salary: £8.21 per hour

Location: Rochester Cathedral Precinct, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1SU
