Here is the chance to join an internationally renowned manufacturing company that provides parts for the Military, Aerospace and Industrial markets. They are looking for a Project Manager to join their plating department and assist them over the course of 12-18 months.

This role is to drive the Plating Shop refurbishment project to meet the safety, quality and cost requirements. There is a strong emphasis on full adherence to all Health and Safety, Quality and Product Standards.

During the day to day work you will be reading and following all relevant documentation and carrying out inspections to ensure that Company standards are being met. You will also be closely monitoring product and system quality and conducting COSSH and risk assessments.

Your Responsibilities

* Executing the current plan precisely.

* Ensuring the aims of the project are met.

* Ensuring the quality standards and safety expectations are met.

* Overseeing the costing and accounting to ensure budgets are controlled by developing a tracker and regularly feeding back the progress.

* Raising orders for each phase of the project.

* Organising internal/ external contractors.

* Having a "hands on" approach to problem solving and the deliverables.

* Ensuring pre and post risk assessments are completed.

* Reporting of the progress to the senior stakeholders.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

* Previous experience in a similar role essential.

* Experience in a manufacturing environment a must

* Strong communication and management skills

* Ability to work in high pressure environment

* Operate with a high degree of autonomy with strong project leadership skills for you and your team
