Production Inspector

SCOPE:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role will be responsible for inspecting key component groups before product is released from the production area.
Ensuring feedback for all non conforming product is passed to production Supervisor and operators.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• General standard of education required.
• Experience within electronic manufacturing environment.
• IPC-A-610 Qualification preferred.
• Enable to identify components including resistor colour codes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To perform full visual inspection of key areas in conventional build before release from the area.
• To be aware of company health and safety requirements.
• To understand and implement necessary anti-static precautions.
• To be competent in the use of Inspection tools (magnifiers etc) for PCB manufacturing.
• To understand manufacturing documents and follow specific instructions.
• To understand IPC 610 Class 2 standards with regard to conventional assembly.
• To highlight any build discrepancies to Production Supervisor.
• To ensure section area is clean, tidy and safe for all staff at all times.
• To carry out First Offs against Product Bill Of Materials
