Reed Marketing are working with a leading Manufacturing organisation who are looking for a Commercial OE Sales Manager to join their growing company. Due to expansion within the sector and business they require an additional commercial manager to work within the Sales team to take full profitable advantage of these commercial opportunities and relationships.
You will report to the Group Sales Director
Responsibilities
** Help provide & support day to day activities of the OEM sales team.
** In line with the Sales strategy via direct or indirect supply working closely with subsidiaries and distribution partners
** Actively seek out new business opportunities and follow up sales leads generated from within the Group.
** Within the business guidelines, take a proactive approach to identify customer service risks & issues and work with colleagues throughout the company to prevent these occurring or mitigate the effects of occurrences.
** Day to day Project Management activities, ensuring customer expectations are managed and where possible exceeded.
** Participate in risk management activities.
** Prepare reports to Management on current and new Sales opportunities & accounts.
** Support and attend opportunities (Exhibitions, seminars workshops etc) to grow business
** Use web-based customer systems to update information as and when required.
** Utilise ERP systems (Phocas & Navision) and CRM, to manage current and new business and support our customers.
** Maintain regular reporting on OEM business e.g. sales pipeline report & Phocas dashboard.
** You must be happy to travel sometime throughout Europe and possibly further afield to support customer base on local sites.
Requirements
** You will hold a degree within Business Management, Finance or Engineering
** Have industry experience within a Senior Sales Position ideally in the automotive or manufacturing
** It is desirable to hold a Prince 2 or a formal project management training
** Strong communication skills, able to liaise at all levels
** Have experience in working and negotiating with customers
