Production Editor/ Proofreader – Immediate Start
Salary: Circa £20,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Canterbury (Town Centre)
Contract: 3 month Fixed Term
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Do you have experience with proofreading documents?

Are you skilled in Adobe InDesign and have knowledge of print and online production processes?

The Production department are currently looking for an experienced Production Editor/Proofreader to assist in the delivery of learning and assessment materials, participating in all stages of the production process.

The Production Editor/Proofreader will undertake typesetting and proofreading of content to prepare materials for publication in print and online formats. Liaison with printers to ensure timely delivery of materials is a key element of the role.

The successful candidate will have:

• A high level of literacy and attention to detail, as well as excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
• An ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Experience of proofreading documents.
• A working knowledge of InDesign.
• Experience of print and online production processes.
