Application Support Manager
Maidstone

A shared services centre working within the advertising sector, requires an Application Support Manager for their ERP system and other applications which supports clients in UK and Europe.

They are looking for a support manager to head their growing support team. You will have a good understanding and practical experience of:
· Liaising with senior stakeholders on support related issues
· Managing the application support team and aiding in the resolution of issues and tickets
· Working with/managing any 3rd party providers in the resolution of tickets
· Prioritising and managing the support tickets within the team and across 3rd parties
· Working alongside various project teams in the handover of projects to the support team and looking at post go live/support issues and tickets

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
· Strong team leadership and people management skills
· Identify areas for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change and seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
· The ability to quickly get up to speed with the firms chosen Service Desk Ticketing System
· Good understanding of process and the ability to apply it to improve service
· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
· Good level of documentation and communication skills
· General knowledge of finance
· Knowledge and experience of service desk management methods and techniques
· Positive, passionate and committed to providing the very best service at all times
· Good emotional intelligence, great with people and rapport building
· Strong organisational and customer service skills
· Skilled in leading people and getting results with a strong customer orientation
· Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care
· Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively across teams
· Ability to work under pressure
· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment with a hands-on, sleeves-up approach

The role will be predominantly based at the Maidstone office, but there will be some travel to the head office in London.
