Clients will rely on you to find them the right kit for a great price. That means you'll be advising them on the best equipment for their needs, and sometimes finding them quotes on their pre-defined specification. You’ll be working on quotes ranging from a few hundred pounds, to tens of thousands per order. Finding the right balance of price and service is key, and you'll be responsible for building channel partnerships and relationships with the right suppliers. You'll also partner with the projects team to provide kit during their large-scale projects, ensuring equipment is delivered on schedule.
You'll be results orientated, making sure you hit deadlines, and keep clients updated on order lead times, and rectifying any unforeseen disturbances in service.
The right candidate for the role will have:
- experience in a purchasing/procurement team
- a history of building relationships with new suppliers
- an interest in learning about IT equipment
- a great customer service record
You'll receive an in-depth induction in your first few weeks. It will help you establish the foundation knowledge needed to succeed with Tribeca. You’ll be working alongside our existing purchasing executive who will be able to teach you how we work. In addition, the IT team will be also be around to help you learn the technical side.
