Customer Service Administrator

£22,000 - £24,000 DOE

Purfleet, Essex

Mon - Fri, 35 hours per week



The purpose of the role is to cover the management of the Order to Cash process including the interactions with their internal and external customers, and their carriers. The role supports the Operational Logistics Manager on Logistics projects, day to day contact with third parties (customers, colleagues both internally, in other plants and Head Office) and reporting.

Other responsibilities include, though not limited to:

* Receive and process UK customer orders
* Receive electronic orders from teams located in various countries, process them and meet delivery deadlines
* Respond to product and price questions
* Keep customer account records up to date
* Enter relevant Service Level Agreement information into Gilda / Salesforce
* Be the main contact internally for any day-to-day issues that may arise
* Arrange transport via TMS
* Raise loading notes and dispatch notes for both UK and Export markets
* Prepare the necessary paperwork including shipping
* Entering orders, Dispatch entries, Loading notes, Dispatch notes etc.
* All forms of general administration duties - phones and post
* Generate and distribute invoices
* Write weekly Supply Chain report

Skills Required:

* Administrative experience and/or qualification
* Able to work to flexible time requirements
* 5 GCSEs or more and a formal qualification in international trade, export logistics or similar
* Previous work experience in a customer services and dispatch/logistics environment
