ID&C are a global leader in providing security wristbands and accreditation to festivals and live events across the UK, USA and Europe. The company has two offices - in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent and Sarasota, Florida.

Due to continued success & growth, this fast-paced, award-winning company is seeking a talented Sales Executive to support the day to day workings of the Sales & Marketing Team. The company is in its 25th year and has a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere with a great day to day working culture and ethic. See our social channels for more information.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Manage sales enquiries - Forward requests from existing customers to relevant account managers. Manage small enquiries yourself, guiding customers through the online process and providing bespoke quotes offline. Forward large or complex new business enquiries to the new business team. Ensure all enquiries in the sales inbox are completed quickly and efficiently. This is often the first impression customers get of the company and it is vital this is a positive experience.

Manage Customers- Process email, website and telephone enquiries from small existing or new customers. Follow up and provide sample packs to customers. Give clear and accurate pricing and product information. Send and chase customers for artwork designs where required. Work closely with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to ensure any new opportunities are identified and acted upon.

Manage online orders- Process all online orders and ensure correct details are entered onto the sales system. Keep customers informed, maintaining excellent levels of service and customer satisfaction.

Support Online - Responsible for monitoring and responding to real time customer queries sent via email or the website. An extremely important and essential first impression of the company.

Assist Repeat Customers - Process sales orders for regular repeat customers. Take telephone sales, manage repeat business. Raise orders on our CRM system, take and record credit card payments, send order confirmations and support the credit control process. Provide clear and accurate pricing and product information.

Assist Sales & Marketing - Assist Business Development Managers and Account Managers with ad-hoc requests. Develop a strong rapport with both customers and colleagues. Participate in exhibitions and other marketing initiatives

Characteristics required for the role:
Above all, we are looking for a creative individual with a great sense of humour who can think outside the box and wants to join a friendly but hard working organisation. To succeed in this role you must demonstrate that you are/have:
-Customer focused individual
-High attention to detail
-Excellent customer service skills
-Engaging telephone manner
-Excellent organisational skills
-Proficient with MS Office Suite & GoogleDocs.
-Knowledge of Sage beneficial but not essential.
-Flexible & collaborative team player
-First-rate analytical & communication skills
-Ability to work to deadlines under pressure.

Job Specifics
-Location - ID&C are located just outside Tunbridge Wells @ TN2 3GP with easy access to the A21 and surrounding areas. Parking available at office or nearby.
-Working hours - 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Standard holiday allocation. Mandatory holiday between Christmas & New Year.
-Office Dress Code - Uber Casual!

-Training - A rigorous and supportive training programme and ongoing development and mentoring.
