A highly reputable and unique business based in North Kent is looking to recruit an experienced ACCA/CIMA Finance Manager to be responsible for the day to day operations of the Finance function.

The successful candidate will be required to manage a small team whilst reporting into the CFO.

The ideal candidate will have a background working within Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering and be fully qualified.

This is an incredibly fast paced role, where you will be required to 'hit the ground running' and bring a fresh outlook to the current finance team.



Key Responsibilities:

* Full monthly reconciliation including full balance sheets.
* Provide monthly reports to key Directors.
* Key point of contact for audit processes.
* Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
* Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
* Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
* Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
* Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
* Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
* Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
* Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings
* Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.



Person Specification:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Essential)
* Previous experience working within Construction, Manufacturing or Engineering.
* Experience managing a small team.
* A team player with a flexible approach and a willingness to learn.
* Strong organisational & time management skills
