My Client is a market leader in their field, with a comprehensive range of products. They are a global company with solutions to suit all. They are currently looking to recruit a Product Development Engineer - Entry level to provide both product design and project management capability and assist the Product Development Team in upgrade and new product design, development & verification of the Company's Product portfolio. This will primarily be supplier-facing, managing multiple suppliers and manufacturers in both high and low cost countries, overcoming cultural and language barriers to deliver new product in time for market. The position also extends to supporting customers as needed.

The Role: Product Development Engineer

Support product development throughout the product lifecycle

Product verification and validation

Requirements and engineering specification support

Supplier liaison

Preparation of detailed component technical drawings, documentation and user manuals.

Aid the customers, sales and marketing on technical solutions and product support

Manage multiple suppliers and Manufacturers



Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Product Development Engineer

Degree in Electronics

Evidence of strong knowledge of electronic products

Knowledge of analogue and digital electronics including micro processing, DSP, video signal processing

Knowledge of camera, optics, acoustics, LCD's and digital recording technologies

Practical Industry experience

Autocad experience

Clear spoken English
