An incredibly exciting position for an experienced Accountant has come up for a successful and unique business based local to Sevenoaks.
You will already be experienced within all aspects of Accountancy and keen to further develop your existing skill set whilst supporting the Directors growth strategies.
The successful candidate will be experienced managing people, have strong Excel skills and knowledge of SAGE.
Key Responsibilities:
* General accounts administration analysing, coding and inputting financial data.
* Oversee the sales and purchase ledger.
* Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
* Ensure the timely submission of VAT and returns.
* Bank reconciliation.
* Administering aged debtors and chasing payments.
* Posting and allocating payments.
* Reconciling supplier accounts and informing supply chain of scheduled payment dates.
* Planning and prioritising collections and payments.
* Ensure management procedures are complied with at all times.
Person Specification:
* AAT Qualified or close to completing.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* Able to proactively work alone as well as within a team.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills
Salary up to £30K
