The Best Connection are seeking van drivers both part time and full time who have a keen interest in working for a medical supplies/equipment distributor in Chatham.

The role itself requires you to deliver medical equipment and supplies throughout the South East of Kent and the outskirts of London.

The typical day would involve reporting for duty at 05:30-7:00am, you will then be presented with your delivery notes for the day, and informed of any safety procedures that you are required to follow at specific locations. Before leaving the depot, it is crucial that you complete a vehicle check, ensuring that there are no faults or damages that you consider a risk to your safety. Once these procedures have been completed, you will then commence to your deliveries, ensuring that you maintain a high level of customer service when you arrive to the locations. In some cases you may be required to help unload the vehicle with a contact at the site. If there are any delivery issues throughout the day, you can call the client, who will be happy to assist you.

You will be required to deliver to cleaning supplies, medical supplies and medical equipment such as wheelchairs and assists.

To begin, you are required to contact The Best Connection branch in order to book an appointment to come into the office and complete all relevant registration forms.

Pay rates:

£8.50 - 10.50 Per Hour (Monday-Friday)

You will always be paid a minimum of 8 hours should your shift finish early.

(Please note we offer an increased rate of pay for weekend work, and also if you possess your own Limited Company)
