My client is a very well respected multi-site, financial services business, looking to recruit a newly created role to the finance team.

Working with the internal finance team, senior management and external stakeholders, this role focuses on managing the day to day operational finance requirements but supports the Finance Director with on-going strategy and projects. This role is pivotal to driving performance improvement and providing a high-quality finance business partnering service.

In detail, this position will oversee the transactional finance teams, working on any process or procedural inefficiencies and helping to deliver commercial insight to ensure that the overall business strategy is met. You`ll help deliver all periodic reporting and compliance requirements, helping teams manage budgets and flagging any areas of overspend. You`ll help set initiatives to ensure that internal controls are adhered to and any legislative requirements are met. You`ll help the transactional teams with their day to day duties and be an escalation point for any areas of concern regarding any technical billing enquiries or outstanding debt.

As an individual you`ll enjoy a prominent position within the business and enjoy working at a senior level. You`ll have first class commercial acumen based on strong technical abilities. You`ll operate with highest levels of discretion, professionalism and integrity, with excellent communication and influencing skills. Any formal qualifications would be an advantage, but are not seen as essential to this post, with sector experience - Financial and / or Professional Services - deemed much more of an essential requirement.
