We have a great new opportunity for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Supply Chain Team in Queenborough, Kent.
About the role
Reporting to the Master Production Scheduler, you will be generating and maintaining customer focused, capacity and material feasible production schedules. Your role will also involve following:
• To analyse the bulk and pack capacity requirements where appropriate and provide recommendations to the Planning & Scheduling
Manager to ensure demand and supply are balanced.
• To liaise with Technical Services group to ensure that all trials and new business requirements are planned into the appropriate work-
centre respecting labour and equipment capacity.
• To interface with purchasing, QC departments and the warehouse to ensure that materials are sampled and released on time to support
the bulk and pack production schedules where appropriate.
• To maintain material master data views in SAP accurately.
Qualification & Experience:
• 3-5 years regulated industry experience in production planning and scheduling.
• High ERP especially SAP literacy and familiarity
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• A high level of competency in Microsoft Office
• Is analytical with good problem solving skills and demonstrates a “can-do” attitude
• An effective team member who can pro-actively identify and resolve planning problems efficiently
• A good appreciation of Lean and Continuous Improvement thinking
• A sound knowledge of cGMP
