Commercial combined Underwriter

Barker Munro recruitment Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join a well-respected and impressive insurer based in beautiful offices in Kent.
You will responsible for underwriting new and existing business risks and actively managing quotations, renewals & MTAs. Developing and supporting commercial lines accounts by engaging and encouraging new and existing relationships with national brokers. Classes of risks will include Commercial Combined (all variants), Property Owners, Motor Trade Combined, Fleet etc. You will need to provide a service to all customers (internal and external) that is memorable for the right reasons and builds their reputation as a great company to work for and do business with.
We are seeking applications from candidates with experience in underwriting and trading commercial combined and/or property owners insurance. You will be proactive, innovative and able to take the initiative. Ideally you will have progressed with your Cert CII and have good Relationship Management skills.
