Drivers Mate

We are currently recruiting for Driver’s mates to work for one of our clients based in Aylesham near Canterbury.

There are two different types of routes that you may be required to work on.

STANDARD ROUTE:

This will involve working alongside the driver on multi drop deliveries of brown and white goods across Kent, loading and unloading the lorry, helping the driver with directions, answering the cab phone and speaking to the depot and customers. This job does involve heavy lifting and long hours with the minimum of an 8 hour shift. Candidates would need to have excellent customer service skills as you will be delivering the goods to customers’ homes. Own transport is required as public transport is not assessable in this area for the time that the shift starts.

PLATINUM ROUTE:

This will involve similar aspects to the standard route but this also required the assembly of the products which can be either building flat pack furniture or installing a washing machine. The drivers have been trained to instal all products so you will only be required to assist.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a team and have good customer service skills.

Working times are:

STANDARD ROUTE: 06:00am start Paid at £8.50

PLATINUM ROUTE: 07:30am start Paid at £9.25

OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL.
