Our well-established and expanding manufacturing client has an immediate opportunity for an experienced individual to become and integral part of the Finance team, managing a team of 10 people.

You will oversee the key areas of financial accounting for the commercial functions of Accounts Receivable, Customer Audits, Transfer Pricing, Working Capital and Customer Administration.

The role requires you to manage the pricing process including credit notes and rebates to ensure accurate documentation to customers.

You will be responsible for ensuring the recover-ability of debt and that sufficient provisions are in place for non recoverable debt. The policies would also be in place to limit exposure to bad debts including the use of credit agencies and Insurance.

The position will also require you to support the Financial Controller with the leadership and coordination of monthly close, forecast, budget and latest estimate activities including interpretation or variances and advice to management.

You will need to have professional accounting qualifications along with post qualification experience in a financial business partner role.

A high level of commercial business acumen ideally gained in a manufacturing environment would be preferred.

The ability to present financial information at all levels within the organisation along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally are essential.

You must have a proven track record in leadership, staff management and training.

Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but not essential.

This is initially a temporary role until September however there may be a possibility of the role becoming permanent.
