Rapport Housing and Care is a registered charity established 52 years ago to accommodate and care for older people.

We are currently building new schemes in Kent and introducing new provision including nursing care at Barnes Lodge, our care home in Tonbridge.

To enable us to commence this exciting new service, we are recruiting a Deputy Manager, circa £43,000 per annum.

Working as part of a highly committed team, the Deputy Care Home Manager will hold one of the key roles within our home and if you were successful, you would be responsible for ensuring that through clinical governance and leadership, the care, health and safety of all our residents is effectively assessed, planned, implemented and evaluated.

We imagine our new Deputy Care Home Manager to be a motivational and inspirational leader, who has the ability to engage and exercise leadership throughout the team with an open communication style and achieve a high standard of clinical care by auditing, analysing trends and directing the nursing and care team to deliver results.

They will have the ability to communicate with ease to the Care Quality Commission, Social Services and the Safeguarding teams and the ability to implement action plans for improvement and build a reputation of high quality care delivery for the home.

Could it be you?

Do you have a valid RGN or RMN NMC Pin Code?

Do you have proven experience of post-qualification Practice in a health and social care setting with older people?

Can you demonstrate previous experience of leading a team?

Can you bring us your great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding?

Do you have good IT skills and confidence in computer based work and do you want to be part of something exciting and new in a fabulous, spacious, modern care home?
