Research and Development Technician
£25,000 - £28,000
Kent - own transport needed
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 1-hour lunch break (35 hour week)
25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
Our client is a market leader in their field and is looking for a Research and Development Technician in Kent with previous experience, ideally within the construction / agricultural / soil testing sectors.
The successful candidate will be providing supporting for materials testing, calibrations and general running of the research and development laboratory.
Duties for this Research and Development Technician role will include but not be limited to:
* Test sample preparation
* Assisting with product and materials testing
* Preparing reports on the test results
* Helping to ensure the equipment is regularly calibrated
* Assisting to maintain accreditation's
The successful Research and Development Technician will have / be able to:
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Excellent computer skills - knowledge of Word and Excel (Intermediate as a minimum - VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables would be advantageous)
* Degree or A Level minimum in Science
* Self-motivated
