Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working closely with a very professional and expanding chartered broker who can offer excellent job security and market presence as well as great career prospects.

This is a senior role within a small team dealing with mid size SME to large and sometimes complex insurance programmes for commercial/corporate clients, premiums of up to around £250k.

The focus of this role is based on looking after a book of key clients that you will inherit, look to grow with successful renewals and cross selling. This certainly isn’t a new business focused role but there are very generous 20% bonuses on any new business written which will boost an already very generous basic salary. You will be fully supported be a highly trained team of account handlers who will deal with much of the admin aspect.

The individual will have a sound and proven knowledge of the Commercial insurance market place and have had experience dealing directly with insurers at a senior level including managing Insurer relationships and expectations.

The ideal candidate will have some CII qualifications but we won’t rule you out if this is not the case as long as you can demonstrate a good technical understanding across a variety of Commercial Covers.

The basic salary is very much open, as a guide we could be looking at anything from £40000 to £60000 or more for the right person plus substantial bonus earning opportunities and benefits.
