Citizens Advice Swale (CA Swale) has a vacancy for a Chief Officer to take overall responsibility for the delivery of a high quality advice service to clients in Sittingbourne, Faversham and Sheppey now and in the future. This will include attracting and retaining funding, motivating staff and volunteers and taking the lead on strategic planning.
The Chief Officer is an interesting and rewarding role, as detailed in the job description/person specification. The vacancy has arisen as the current post holder will be retiring shortly. The Chief Officer is supported by an engaged trustee board.
As the Chief Officer you will have the ability to:
Commit to, and work within, the aims, principles and policies of Citizens Advice and of CA Swale
Create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed, dignity at work is upheld and the staff are empowered and motivated to do their best
Attract and retain external funding
Lead a team, including the ability to delegate and take decisions on the running of an organisation
