Job title: Analytical Method Development Validation Chemist
Location: Queenborough, Kent, ME11 5EL
We are looking for a focused and self-confident individual with a flexible and methodical approach to join our Analytical Development Team in Queenborough, Kent.
About the role
As an Analytical Scientist you will provide timely analytical support, perform test method transfers and validation, facilitate introduction of new analytical equipment and support product, production or test method investigations for new business projects. Your role will also include:
• To produce documentation in support of analytical method verification/validation and method transfer activities.
• To ensure analytical instruments are correctly maintained and calibrated.
• To devise, develop and operate analytical test methods to give the information required for development projects.
• To provide individual test reports for commercial projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Honors degree in biology / chemistry (2ii or above) or equivalent
• Experienced in analytical testing in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Thorough understanding of the GLP documentation requirements of a QC lab.
• Experienced in safe working in a micro / chemical testing laboratory.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving abilities.
