Having been established for over 15 years this company really are going from strength to strength.
The team are growing and are ready to welcome an experienced Bookkeeper to support the company accountant. They contribute their success to the hardworking and driven team so are keen to recruit a like minded individual.
Responsibilities include:
* Daily fast and accurate input of information onto Excel spreadsheets and SAGE.
* Managing Purchase Ledger.
* Reconciliation of bank statements.
* Creating information for weekly payment run.
* Handling of invoices received, including managing required corrections, input onto system, obtaining relevant payment authorisation and ensuring payment is made on time.
* Raising and processing internal company invoicing.
* Completing VAT returns.
* Managing office petty cash and employee expense claims.
* Responding to external and internal accounts queries.
* Assisting Group Accountant with Ad hoc duties.
If you have a solid bookkeeping background with AAT Level 2 or 3 and proficient using Sage and Excel we would love to hear from you!
The company are a regular supporter of local charities and staff have previously volunteered for the local food bank. They are also very conscious of carbon emissions and minimising the carbon footprint of their buildings. You would certainly be part of an ethical and community orientated company.
