A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join one of East Kent's most beautiful and stunning hotels. Working with seasonal fresh ingredients, creating quality dishes and working within a team looking for accolades this is a fantastic opportunity for the right chef looking for career progression.
As Junior Sous Chef you will have a good all round background to include restaurant service and catering for conference and banqueting also. As in this role it will involve split shifts providing breakfasts (up to 100 covers), afternoon teas and lunches (up to 100) and dinner up to 60 covers. The hotel also has a number of weddings and conferences throughout the year and you will have a passion for providing the highest quality of food in a pressurised environment.
As Junior Sous Chef you will understand the importance of good kitchen management and hygiene control and you will be supporting the Head Chef and the team. This could be an opportunity for an experience Chef De Partie looking for their first step up to a Junior Sous Chef role.
Due to the location of this hotel your own transport is essential, you will work 5 out of 7 days including weekends and this will include some early, late and split shifts.
