Are you an experienced Quality Engineer who is looking to join a stable employer who is a recognised name in their industry, or an Engineer who is looking to re-focus their career as a Quality Technician If so, then we'd like for you to get in touch.
New Appointments Group are working exclusively with an engineering firm on the outskirts of Maidstone who are looking to supplement their Quality team with an additional member of staff either at Engineer or Technician level (dependent on experience).
Working beneath a highly experienced Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be accountable for ensuring that all processes and procedures throughout the facility are effectively implemented and operational to maintain customer satisfaction. You will be required to support customers in all quality related issues through the use of continuous improvement and quality techniques (RCA, CAPA, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, and SPC). Previous experience of machined plastic and/or metal parts would be highly advantageous but to be considered for the Engineering vacancy then you need to have tangible experience of ISO9001 and either AS9100, TS16949, or ISO13485.
If your experience lies more within a machining/injection moulding environment but you'd like to move into a Quality Technician vacancy then providing you have proven team working ability, have strong communication skills, and you're willing to learn then this could be the role for you. The role will include first off inspections, carrying out shop floor audits, management and control of non-confirming products audits, and dealing with supplier issues and queries. You will assist in the management of IMS/QMS systems and assist in the daily operations to perform new products, processes, and tooling verifications.
Previous experience of CMM would be highly desirable at either level - but not essential the firm would provide full training on this.
This is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive organisation, immediate interview and start available.
