A mechanically minded Manufacturing Engineer is required to take up an exciting opportunity within a market leading Thanet based organisation.

The successful candidate will be working across all departments including technical, engineering and operations to deliver manufacturing engineering improvements across a breadth of activities; supporting existing and new products, defining new and supporting existing processes, quantifying costs, measuring quality processes and procedures, addressing lead time improvements and requirements amongst others.

You will also be capable of planning and managing ME related activities, across site and report ME related cost structures and savings.

Ideally you will be degree educated in an engineering discipline or have significant experience within an engineering environment (five years minimum).

* Lean certification (highly desirable);
* Project Management experience(essential);
* Aviation sector experience (desirable);
* Proven experience of supporting and working within multi-discipline teams;
* Possess a strong understanding of quality systems, change management and continuous improvement techniques along with audit compliance will be necessary.
