We are a small country-kitchen business making jams, honey products, preserves and chutneys with lovely fresh, local ingredients. We currently supply several major outlets and smaller Farm Shops and Tea Rooms across East Kent, with delicious products, individually labelled.

As we head towards the summer, we want to increase our sales and expand our customer base. To do this we need a dedicated sales person, whose role is to promote our new product range to a wider audience across the area.

Main Duties:

• Maintain excellent customer relationships with existing customer database as well as finding new customers.
• Make initial and follow-up sales calls; sales experience is not essential.
• Delivery of some finished products to customers.
• Be happy to handle cash as required.

Person Specification - you will need to be:

• Cleanly presented, personable and approachable.
• Well-spoken, numerate and computer literate.
• Friendly and confident on the telephone.
• Able to communicate clearly face to face with customers and colleagues.
• Able to manage your own workload and have meticulous attention to detail.
• Versatile and willing to work across the business where required.


NB: To begin with we are looking for someone to work 20 hours a week spread evenly over 4-5 days to suit.

Applicants must be flexible in their approach to the work undertaken.

Starting pay: £8.50 per hour

Occasional Saturday working may be required in busy periods.
