Our client a recently refurbished sea front pub based in Thanet are seeking a qualified and experienced Head Chef to join their expanding team. If you have a passion for great food and can work well under pressure then this could be the job you have been looking for.
Responsibilities:
* Familiar with and adherence to Food Hygiene Regulations, health and safety and allergens
* Experience in managing or assisting in a busy service as and when required
* Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
* Estimates staffs workload, be fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staff
* Proven experience as a Head Chef
* Exceptional and proven ability of kitchen management
Working hours required for the role are either 9.30am - 2.30pm or 3.30pm - 9.30pm five days out of seven (to include weekends) at this time there are no split shifts (but this could change owing to the business needs)
