The JCB Group is a family-run business going through an exceptional period of growth and this is set to continue. We have 17 sites across Kent, Sussex and Essex and around 400 employees covering 11 brands; Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Honda, SEAT, SKODA, Kia, Mitsubishi, SsangYong, Citroen, Mercedes-Benz Vans and TPS.

Opened in January 2019, the Mercedes-Benz Van Centre in Rainham is our newest dealership and it is going from strength to strength. Due to business growth, we are looking for someone to join the team at our Mercedes-Benz Van Centre as Customer Liaison. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 08.00-17.30 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

As Customer Liaison, you will be the face of JCB, ensuring the highest degree of customer satisfaction to achieve customer loyalty. You will do this by delivering outstanding customer service at every point of the customer’s journey with us.

Key tasks include (but are not limited to):
• To be the end to end point for customers and their experience and journey with the van centre, including:
- Seeing service customers in for service, repair and MOT.
- Ensure service customers are kept updated whilst their vehicle is in our care.
- Book service customers in for their service, repair and MOT who contact the van centre.
- Pro-actively contact customers who are due a service or MOT and book them in.
- Ensure new sales vehicles are inspected by the workshop and are ready on time for the customer to collect.
• To answer telephone calls into the van centre and deal with queries and sales opportunities and pass messages on to the sales team.
• To look after our customers whilst they are on site with us, by approaching them as they arrive on site, keeping them updated if they are
waiting for their vehicle to be repaired, and making drinks as needed.
• Handle dissatisfied customers calmly, resolve complaints with sensitivity and involve the Sales Manager when needed.
• Pro-actively contact customers to seek their feedback on their sales or service experience with the van centre.

To be successful in this role you will need to be incredibly organised, amiable and approachable, with a passion for outstanding customer service. You will have excellent communication skills and previous experience within the Automotive Industry is preferred.
