With a move to new offices my client are looking for a Sales person to join their vibrant and busy team.
Due to growth and expansion, with another exhibition being added to their existing portfolio this is an excellent time to start work with my client.
This role will suit someone who has sales experience, preferably in the media or events sales sector.
You will be proactive in your approach, and happy to pick up the phone to have consultative conversations with existing and potential clients, exhibitors, speakers delegates etc.
Although office based you will also be expected to attend the exhibitions and build relationships to ensure that exhibitors and delegates will book the following exhibitions. This might require some overnight stays.
Ideal Candidate:
Self motivated
Happy to pick up the phone and have conversations
Enthusiastic and excellent at building rapport
First class communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
Keeping up to date with market developments and researching new growth areas
Highly organised
Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft applications
Knows how to keep accurate work records
Team player
Annual basic salary to 26k depending on experience, plus commission.
