Do you recognise the challenges of transition between primary and secondary school? Do you recognise the support parents may need to engage fully with their child in this process. Do you want a role that enables you to make a real difference to the lives of those young people and their families who may find it more difficult.

Do you have the professional experience and skills to work with families experiencing significant challenges. Do you have experience of working in partnership with schools other agencies to maximise the impact of your support? Do you have experience of working with young people to help them overcome barriers and achieve their aims?

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint Transition Support Workers as part of the HeadStart Kent Programme. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and ground breaking programme that is specifically focused on the transition phase for young people.

While your background may be in education, social care, counselling, youth work or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated, dynamic and talented individuals, experienced at working respectfully, creatively and in a solution focused way with families
to achieve lasting change.

1 x part-time: Ashford (ASAP – December 2019)
