Care Assistants

Care Assistants required in Gravesend

Your role as a Care Assistants will be to support our young client with complex health needs in their own home. You will be required to monitor the child during the day as well as during the night to ensure that all their medical needs are attended to. As you will be in a family environment, a need to respect privacy is essential.

Ideal candidates will have experience of working with children with complex conditions. We do provide full specialist training and shadow shifts to ensure that you feel confident in your role as a Care Assistants.

Salary, Shift Times and Benefits for Care Assistants:
- £10 per hour day shifts during the week and £10.50 per hour during the weekend / £10.50 per hour waking nights during the week and £11 per hour for waking nights during the week.
- Salary is calculated as an hourly rate of pay multiplied by number of hours worked.
- Accrued holiday pay
- Day shifts:Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays:
3pm – 9pm
- Waking Night shifts:Sunday to Thursday:
10pm-9am
- Friday and Saturday: 10pm-8am
- We have full and part time hours available
- You must hold a Full UK drivers licence in order to take our client out
- This role is temporary and during your time working with Active Assistance there may be opportunities to work with other clients
- You will be employed by Active Assistance on a flexible contract
- Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays.
- Employees will be auto-enrolled into the NEST Pension Scheme
- DBS Certificate (please note that if you leave within your 3-month probation period the cost of this will be deducted from your salary)
